J1 Hiring Program for the Amusement Industy.

This program benefits hundreds of amusement parks, arcades and food concessions. Select foreign university students have the unique opportunity to visit the United States and work in an American company for a maximum of four months during their summer vacation. The foreign staff will have, or acquire upon arrival, a Social Security card. They are required to maintain appropriate comprehensive health insurance during their time in the United States. J-1 visitors are exempt from Medicare, Social Security and federal unemployment taxes. By federal regulation, participants must have sufficient competence in English to participate in this program. International students are very hard-working, intelligent and they are extremely flexible, willing to perform a variety of duties, and to work as many hours as may be needed. There are no hiring costs to the employer; however, it is essential to arrange everything in advance, so there is more time to select the best candidates to match your specific hiring requirements. • Food Handler;

Minimum Required Hours of Work:

The participants need to work at least twenty five hours per week.

Maximum Hours:

Most of our students will be happy to work for sixty or more hours per week. Overtime opportunities are always appreciated.
